ColorMe Weekly #49 Your walking in the wrong direction!
Hi everyone and welcome to another week of colorme weekly. Sometimes when you're out for a walk you're not actually walking in the right direction for taking photographs........seriously! huh........what do you mean? I can hear you say to yourself. Well this leaf just looked like any other autumn leaf as I walked past it last weekend. But it was only when I turned and looked at it from its other side with the back lighting from the sun that it became alive. From one direction it just looked pale and insignificant but from the other direction it seemed to be so full of energy and invigorating. The sun's rays certainly gave life to this photograph.
Next time you're out keep an eye on what's going on behind you too...........
Despite it being a lovely sooc I couldn't help but give it 'a certain something' and edited it in CS5 with Nelly Nero outdoor tints action set - Autumn Vintage. (all free!)
Gasp.....this week I've hardly spent anytime with the camera. This photographer took a back seat while the website designer of sorts took over and I've almost sorted the e commerce side of the new leavesnbloom website. It's starting to come together nicely and I'm so excited though I've still got a few more weeks (maybe a bit optimistic with that!) of work ahead of me before it finally gets launched.
Speaking of websites.......my blogs were all down for an hour or so on Sunday but thankfully the google support team were quick to sort it all out for me...... phew! The new one thankfully is hosted elsewhere.

3 little words of encouragement:
Oh Rosie, how do you do it - your photo is beautiful! I wish my attempts last week of photographing sunlight through leaves were half as beautiful as yours. Exquisite.
Thanks Diana.......I loved how the area around the leaves went so dark due to the metering I was using that day.
Gorgeous! I play around with backlighting often. Still trying to get it just right. :)
